Are you looking for a therapist who can help you discover your capacity for healing?

I’m Jocelyn Wagman, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Oregon. I focus on helping adults navigate life’s challenges and (re)discover their true selves. Whether you’re struggling with parenting, grief, burnout, anxiety, or another difficult situation, I use a blend of approaches rooted in empathy, non-judgment, liberation, and trauma-informed care to collaborate with you to tap into your capacity to heal and thrive.

At Jocelyn M Wagman Counseling, you’ll find a sensitive, engaged, and trustworthy therapist to support your growth and healing.

My Approach:

As a therapist, I draw from practices based in mindfulness, self-compassion, polyvagal theory, internal family systems, and trauma-informed care. I lean into my high-sensitivity to offer warm, connected, compassionate therapy, and can help other highly-sensitive people learn about and work with this trait.

I completed my graduate training in social work in 2015 and also hold a Masters degree in public health. I’ve worked extensively with people navigating serious illness and loss and their families in hospital settings. I regularly participate in trainings and consultation groups to continue to grow as a therapist. I am a parent and a step-parent and am continually learning and stretching from these experiences too.

I chose social work because of its emphasis on social justice. I believe that most of the struggles we experience are rooted in various forms of oppression, and actively participating in dismantling these oppressive structures is important to me. I strive for anti-racism and all forms of anti-oppressive practice.

I would be honored to be a skillful companion who can support your growth and healing.
